Friday Finds

Hey-o!  It's Friday.  The Friday before Halloween.  That means......

No, no wait.  I'm sick and will probably spend the night eating Frosted Mini Wheats on the couch watching Madagascar 3 for the millionth time.

As much as I am obsessed with love Fall, I have never been a big Halloween fan.  I don't like scary movies, I'd rather eat cupcakes than candy bars, and finding a costume feels like a chore.

It's okay, I already know that I'm no fun.

Though I will say, that having kids makes Halloween a little, teeny, tiny bit more endurable......

Ummm, yeah.  I'd say seeing my beautiful Cinderella makes Halloween seem pretty ok :)

Onto Friday Finds!

These.  Sneakers.  So obnoxious.  So beautiful.  So obsessed.

Since it's almost Halloween- here's a list of 24 easy and spooky Do It Yourself party ideas!  This little ghost is my favorite.

You may not know this about me, but, Snickerdoodles are my absolute favorite cookie of all time.  Joel says this is boring.  I say, he's dumb.  So of course, these Snickerdoodle stacks caught my little eye.  The recipe has you using refrigerated sugar cookie dough, but you could most definitely use your favorite SD recipe.

Let's take a break this week from clothes that cost a small fortune and go with something a little more frugal.  Cheaper, yes.  Freaking cute, yes.  Sounds like a winning combo to me.  Go Old Navy!

Fall = Pie.  It's science.  This recipe is worth making if only for the caramel whipped cream.  What was that?!  Yeah, I'll say it again, CARAMEL WHIPPED CREAM.

Would you like to work off some of that deliciousness?  Look no further than one of my very favorite blogs, Life of Blyss.  Alyssa shared this 4 week shred workout this week and it looks awesome!

It's candy season, right?!  Can't have too many workouts.  This body weight circuit from Courtney, who is another one of my favorite blogs, looks pretty stellar, too.  Gotta work off all those mini Snickers and candy corn, friends.

Lastly, the thing I definitely miss the most about Texas is the freaking delicious Mexican food.  It makes me want to weep a little it's so good.  Luckily, I found this recipe for Joel and I's favorite cheesy, delicious sauce.  Put it on your burritos, your tacos, your ice cream, whatever floats your boat.  But please, just make it.  It's out of this world.

Hope you have a spooktacular weekend!
